I'm working in the Information and Communication Technology Section of the ICTP since november 1987.
Since then I performed many different tasks, from the management of different operating systems (old MS-DOS, VAX/VMS, Ultrix, BSD Unix, Solaris, Windows 9x, Windows XP, AIX, LInux) to the network management helping in creating the ICTP network infrastructure that now connects 5 different buildings and the Internet and the server infrastructure that offer services to the hole ICTP scientists and staff.

I like this job very much since I have the possibility of learning always new stuff and meet always new people with different cultures that for me is very stimulating.
